Data Scientist

 

Responsibilities:

Analyze large and complex datasets from Flexcube, OBIEE, and other banking systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Design and implement predictive models and analytical frameworks to support strategic decision-making in areas such as customer analytics, risk management, and operations.

Develop, maintain, and optimize OBIEE dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial insights.

Collaborate with engineering and database teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from core banking systems into analytical environments.

Apply statistical and machine learning techniques including Decision Trees, SVM, Linear and Logistic Regression, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) on large-scale, high-dimensional datasets.

Ensure high data quality, consistency, and governance in alignment with financial regulatory standards and internal audit requirements.

Partner with product managers, finance teams, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.

Develop clear, insightful, and interactive visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders. 

Support automation of reporting processes and continuous improvement of data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy and information security policies applicable to financial institutions.

Requirements:

U.S. earned Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Management or closely related field & 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.

Must have the following skills:

Oracle Flexcube Universal Banking System (UBS), Customer Segmentation, Data Change Management, End-of-Day (EOD) accrual/interest calculations, performing detailed data analysis to derive actionable insights, OBIEE dashboards, Flexcube Implementation Life Lifecycle Management, Product Walk Through (PWT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Migration Phases, Integration of Core Banking Systems (DDA/Loans/Payments), Payment Gateway Systems, Dynamic Script (CVPKS/Spooling), Aborted Script, Data Reconciliation, Machine Learning Algorithms, Machine Learning Models (Logistic Regression, Random Forest, LightGBM, and Neural Networks), Banking Domain System Integration.Must be willing to work from 2 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday.
